1:500,000 Scale USGS Map Series
Includes 1:500,000 scale topographic maps and sketch maps. Maps focus on pan-Antarctic coastal areas, such as Marie Byrd Land, Enderby and Wilkes Lands and Victoria Land.
1:250,000 Scale USGS Map Series
Includes 1:250,000 scale topographic maps along much of the continent, highlighted by the Transantarctic Mountains, McMurdo Dry Valleys and Victoria Land.
1:100,000 Scale USGS Map Series
Includes select 1:100,000 scale topographic maps in the McMurdo Dry Valleys and Ross Island area, extending to the northern Transantarctic Mountains.
1:50,000 Scale USGS Topographic Maps
Includes set of 1:50,000 scale topographic maps highlighting the McMurdo Dry Valleys. One of the USGS's most popular series, these maps boast 50 meter contours, hillshading and placenames.
1:25,000 Scale USGS Map Series
Includes a sample of 1:25,000 scale satellite maps of the McMurdo Dry Valleys and Ross Island. This map set is incomplete, but will be updated as more maps are obtained and scanned by AGIC.
Includes a wide array of geologic maps produced by the USGS. Select areas of Antarctica are included in the geologic maps show rock types, consistent with other USGS geologic products.
USGS TMA Flightline Map Series
Includes maps produced by the USGS with the original trimetrogon aerial (TMA) flight lines on each map. These maps are great for reference to downloading the aerial photos associated with each flight line, where available.
